Music Therapists in South Africa are registered with the Health Professions council of South Africa (HPCSA). Music Therapists belong to the South African Music Therapy Association (SAMTA), as well as the South African National Arts Therapies Association (SANATA). We are grouped together with the other Arts Therapies such as Art Therapy, Movement Therapy, Dance and Drama Therapy.
